The Paris Tour

For over 20 years I've been providing an insider’s access into the endlessly inspiring universe of the couture capital of the world, Paris. Over that time, I’ve built close relationships with my colleagues there, and developed connections throughout the city, to provide you with the best possible experiences.  

The adventure begins at our charming hotel......it's perfectly situated in a lovely neighborhood in which you'll soon feel at home. We'll visit designers and artisans, and we'll visit museums with private guides; we'll buy fabric at a number of exclusive resources - one of which is, to my mind, the best fabric store in the world - as well as two other gems that sell end cuts from the couture houses.   We'll also spend a day with master draper and pattern maker Julien Cristofoli, watching him first apply the bolduc tapes to a dress form (the necessary foundation of the process), and then he'll drape a number of garments. It's phenomenal. And we'll visit the Yves Saint Laurent Foundation and the new Dior Flagship; both have beautiful exhibits.  

We'll meet with an inspiring designer who is lauded for her ethical approach to design and manufacturing, and we'll visit other establishments whose skill and artistry reflect their dedication, over the generations, to their art forms. We'll get to examine haute couture garments from a world-class private collection. And then there's the ballet at the exquisite Palais Garnier, and a gala farewell dinner in the private room of a historic restaurant. 

We'll do all of this and more during our time in Paris.

The cost of the 2024 Paris Tour is $9250. A deposit of $2250 will guarantee your space; the balance is due in January for the March tour and September for the November tour.

All cancellations, for any reason whatsoever, will be subject to a $250 per person cancellation fee. Cancellation within 61-90 days prior to the tour will result in a forfeiture of 40% of the cost of the tour per person; within 31-60 days, 60%; within 15-30 days, 80%. Cancellation within 14 days or less will result in forfeiture of the entire cost of the tour. Trip cancellation insurance is strongly advised; medical insurance is required.
