When I founded the Couture Sewing School 25 years ago, in 1993, I had no doubt that I could help people improve their sewing skills. What I didn’t expect was the truly inspiring community of sewers that would emerge from these classes. The deep bonds formed amongst my students and the continual exchange of techniques, ideas, tips, knowledge and friendships have become an integral part of my teaching experience. Thanks to today’s technology, we are lucky enough to be able to expand and strengthen these invaluable connections with each other, regardless of where we are in the world. That is why I am so thrilled to announce the Susan Khalje Couture Sewing Club, an amazing Facebook community platform where I am offering exclusive instructional video posts, exciting prizes (including a free space in one of my in-person couture class), tips, techniques, live feedback on questions and lots more! You can upload photos and videos of the garments you create for me and fellow members to respond to and help improve! The number of members in the group in limited, so please sign up soon!
