STUDENTS WILL: –Day 1–preparing the dress form with twill tape (bolduc) –Day 2–draping 2 skirts –Day 3–draping 2 tops –Day 4–perfecting the patterns Each four-day class will follow the same format, but for each set, the skirts will be different and the tops will be different. Therefore, students attending both sessions will end up with a dress form on which the permanent bolduc tapes have been applied, patterns for 4 skirts, and patterns for 4 tops. The patterns will provide the groundwork for the basic techniques of draping. – A supply list will be sent out well in advance of the class. – Each session will be limited to 12 students. – The class will be taught by Monsieur Cristofoli, and Susan Khalje will be on hand to assist. – Each student will need a sturdy dress form; dress forms can be shipped to and from the Baltimore hotel in which the class will be held. – The cost of each 4-day session is $875. – For more information, please email Susan Khalje or call 410-592-5711.  |
